Are Potential Supporters Watching Your Nonprofit's Videos?

Online video marketing is a valuable tool for promoting your nonprofit.  But, just uploading a video or two to YouTube isn’t enough! You need to keep updating your video content and market it through as many tools and applications as possible.  Here’s a few ways to push your video out through multiple media channels.
  1. Use Facebook’s video tab to show your YouTube videos to all your followers and fans.  Did you know that nearly 47 million people in the U.S. watched videos on Facebook in February 2011? Check out Purple Duck University’s Facebook page http://www.facebook.com/#!/pages/Purple-Duck-University/148393317971?sk=app_2513891999 and click on the video tab to see what I mean
  2. Add them on your website on various pages.  The Search Engines love this! (Check out our client Hemophilia of Georgia’s page to see how they added video to their website http://www.hog.org/pharmacy/  and here’s our video portfolio http://www.purpleduckmarketing.com/portfolio_video.html )
  3.  Tweet them out through Twitter using a catchy call to action (Ex: Did you know that many Hemophilia of GA's programs are funded from their pharmacy program? learn more http://t.co/c9ZeBBY)
  4.  Set up a company page on LinkedIn and add a video there.  Here’s some step by step directions  http://www.reelseo.com/how-to-add-video-linkedin-company-profile-services/
  5. Embed a video into a Google presentation and put it on your LinkedIn profile. Visit http://www.reelsocialmedia.com for a quick video tutorial about how to do it. LinkedIn helps drive traffic back to your site.
  6.  Embed a video clip into your email.  Email programs that use HTML formats such as Microsoft Outlook or Mozilla Thunderbird will allow you to embed a video clip. (click on this link to learn how   www.ehow.com/how_6538368_embed-video-html-email.html  )
