An Interactive Workshop for Georgia Nonprofits
Presented by Purple Duck Marketing
Non-profits and cause-related organizations are constantly confronted with how to increase awareness and raise the necessary funds to further their mission. In challenging economic times, the pressure to do both quickly and successfully increases. Facing greater competition for valuable donor dollars often leaves nonprofit professionals overwhelmed with where to best spend their valuable marketing dollars. Video provides the most compelling and flexible marketing tool available to engage a larger audience, increase public awareness, and encourage greater donor or volunteer participation.
By understanding how to create effective videos, re-purpose existing ones, and tap into the many opportunities available to showcase them, nonprofits can stretch their marketing budget and increase their return on investment significantly.
Workshop includes information, exercises and handouts for:
• Defining your organization’s story and key messaging for creating a powerful nonprofit video
• Determining what video content and images to include in your video project
• Creating your video project plan (pre-production)
• Managing the shooting and editing of your video (production)
•Designing a plan to share your video with existing and potential supporters
This workshop is designed for nonprofits who:
• Are thinking about creating a marketing, fundraising, or Public Service Announcement video
• Have already invested in a video but don’t know how to leverage it for more than one purpose (Web, Social Media, Internet, News Releases, PSA)
• Don’t have the budget for a new video but who might have assets like existing footage, photos, etc. that they can use to create a visual marketing tool.
